Managed IT : AccountingTeam joins up with Cheops for complete IT outsourcing.

AccountingTeam are a group of dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic accountants and tax consultants specialising in budgeting, bookkeeping and auditing, and in legal, social security and tax advice.
AccountingTeam has an extensive IT environment at its disposal, and to preserve the focus on their core business, Cheops Technology NV offered them a hand in helping to outsource AccountingTeam's entire IT environment.
This full-blooded outsourcing project was sealed in a Managed IT agreement under which Cheops will renew the complete server and network infrastructure after a thorough audit, design and implementation. Performance, availability and optimisation by consolidation are the crucial factors here.
The new platform is based on HP Proliant Servers, an HP Storageworks SAN and VMware Infrastructure 3 Enterprise Edition virtualisation technology with High Availability, Load Balancing and Disaster Recovery for optimised use of the resourcing and splitting of the systems.
Besides general support, Cheops will look after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, Remote Control, Remote Monitoring of the servers and network components, remote Healthcheck, Periodic on-site IT support, Security Management, Asset Management and Lifecycle Management.
The contract will be for a period of 4 years on the basis of a Gold Service Level Agreement.
