Adelantex opts for Managed Hosting én virtualisation.

Air freighter Adelantex with head offices in Brucargo is the central communications point for many airfreight shipping companies in the areas of administration and customs and excise and is itself also a shipper.
Adelantex wants to overhaul their IT infrastructure and have a High Availability solution at their disposal. In fact their systems must be accessible 24/7 from various locations.
In view of the longstanding and confidential relationship between the parties, Cheops was commissioned to develop a reliable and advanced solution that would be managed by Cheops as well.
To meet the wishes of the customer we developed the option of Managed Hosting of virtual servers on the basis of the HP BladeSystem, VMware Infrastructure Enterprise, Citrix Xenapp and a centralised storage solution based on an HP EVA 6100 SAN and this will operate for the next 4 years.
Dedicated Resources such as RAM memory, CPUs and disk space can be dynamically allocated so that the performance of the servers remains guaranteed.
The internet connectivity is based on the Belgacom Explore platform on the basis of redundant infrastructure.
In view of the unique Virtual Hosting formula provided by Cheops, Adelantex will not find it necessary to make major investments in hardware and software, but will use the existing high-end environment at the Cheops datacenter.
