Flanders Government appoints Cheops as BEA service provider.

Cheops Technology is happy to announce that the Flanders Government has designated Cheops as a BEA service provider.
BEA stands for Budget for Economic Advice and is the name of the newly integrated subsidy measures (as successor to the education and consultation cheques for enterprises) with which the Flemish Government provides up to 35% support to businesses that want to invest in training, advice, knowledge and mentorship.
The subsidy can be applied for online since the application, the processing, allocation and the management of the subsidy are entirely web-based through the electronic entrepreneurship portfolio (www.beaweb.be).
Procedure:
- Enter and make an agreement with an approved service provider.
- Submit subsidy application online via website. Now the services can start. Remember that your subsidy application may be refused. Once the services have started you will not be able to submit another application.
- The service provider must confirm the authenticity of the subsidy application within 14 calendar days. This will be confirmed to the applicant by e-mail. If the service provider declines the subsidy application, the application as a whole will be cancelled. If the service provider affirms the application for subsidy, the applicant proceeds to Step 4.
- The business must first deposit its part of the investment with Sodexho within 14 calendar days.
- The subsidy will then be approved.
This support measure by the Flanders Government therefore ensures that Cheops clients are able to apply for subsidies from now on for their ‘promoting entrepreneurship services’, hence also including IT projects. The subsidy can go up to 35% of the total costs of the project where Cheops is the approved service provider in the Advice pillar and the Training pillar:
