Calling the number 03 320 82 38 will put you in touch with the Planning Coordinators at the Cheops Service Center: Karina Vereecken and Anja Eykmans. In addition to managing the schedule of the consultants and engineers, these two women are responsible for contract management and for managing the productivity of all the technicians.

"When a customer calls us with a specific problem, we look for an engineer who specialises in this field. Based on an estimate of this engineer of how much time he will need to tackle the problem, we make an appointment – in consultation with the client – to solve the problem or carry out the installation. This can take place either at the customer's premises or remotely", explains Anja. "We also take care of holiday planning and ensure the necessary backup for consultants who are being outsourced for longer periods."

"When scheduling appointments, there are a number of considerations to take into account", says Karina. "For example, some customers have a preference for a specific time or a specific technician. Naturally, we take this into account where possible. We also bear in mind traffic density when scheduling appointments. Sending a consultant into the centre of Brussels during the morning rush hour is not a particularly good idea. It's better to arrange such appointments in the early afternoon", says Karina.

Another tip from the planning team ladies: scheduling regular preventative check-ups for your IT infrastructure can save you a lot of trouble!
