In the spotlight: the admin team

Linda, Bianca, Saskia and Tania from the Cheops administration team do much more than answer telephones. They operate behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the people you speak to when you call Cheops.
Linda Van Bogaert, office manager: “We prepare and check invoices, process payroll records, handle contact with suppliers, chase up debtors, and manage the fleet, so we are relied on to handle all of the accounting procedures. We are also the central point of contact for clients and for Cheops employees."
Bianca Verhoeven, office assistant: “When you call Cheops, there is a good chance that you will speak to me. I answer the phone, preferably before it rings four times, and put you through to the right contact person. Cheops policy does not permit us to divulge the telephone numbers of consultants, and there is a good reason for this. If our consultants had to answer their mobiles whenever someone wanted to speak to them, they would not be able to do their work properly. The quickest way for clients to obtain assistance is through our service centre, which can arrange a meeting for them with the appropriate consultant. Many clients still call the Cheops switchboard when they require assistance, but calling the service centre directly is much faster. Our service centre can be reached on +32 (0)3 320 82 38, and for clients with Gold Service Level Agreements it is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
Tania Vekemans: “We also have an online helpdesk. Clients can submit requests for assistance and monitor the status of their requests using the Cheops customer portal at https://customers.cheops.be. They can also review each case that has been dealt with to see what was done.”
Saskia Chattelion, office assistant: “We have many satisfied clients, but occasionally we will receive a call from someone who is unhappy. When this happens, we try our best, of course, to be understanding, and we investigate their complaint thoroughly. Everything is entered in a central system and weekly follow-up meetings are held to ensure that complaints are dealt with quickly and efficiently.”
