Microsoft changes partner programme

Edegem, 22 April 2010

Microsoft has announced a large number of changes to its partner programme, which has been renamed the Microsoft Partner Network. Perhaps the most important change relates to the fact that the bar for Gold Certified Partners has been raised further. Those wishing to obtain Gold Certified Partner status must participate in a Customer Satisfaction Index survey at least once during the 12-month period prior to re-enrolment. This means that customer satisfaction is now one of the requirements that have to be met in order to obtain the highest level of certification. In addition, Gold Certified Partners also have to be able to submit references from clients, and they are required to undergo annual quality audits conducted by Microsoft.

Earlier this year, Cheops passed these strict tests with flying colours and was re-enrolled as a Gold Certified Partner, thanks in no small part to high scores in the area of customer satisfaction.
