BiLAN stands for "Belgacom interconnection of LANs" and is the best means to make LANs from various business or branches communicate in an entirely safe manner with each other without having to invest in a cumbersome and expensive private network. All the connections are made through the central BiLAN network thus creating a VPN (Virtual Private Network) without the need for you to install a multiplicity of classic point-to-point connections between your different sites.
For the connection towards the central BiLAN network, Cheops can make use of both ADSL and SDSL or a rented line, but teleworkers can also log onto BiLAN from home or on the road via an ordinary telephone line, UMTS or even their mobile telephone.
The great advantage is that our connectivity solutions based on BiLAN are perfectly scalable, which means that they can grow without any problem along with your business, both as regards bandwidth and the number of connected LANs.
